Originally from a small Appalachian town in Tennessee and the youngest of eight children, my childhood cultivated a passion for stories that center around family. I hope to create narratives that touch on the heart of community and show how we, as valuable moving parts of humanity, are more similar than different from each other.

I am a senior at Ohio University studying photojournalism and just returned from the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXI. Last fall I completed the Danish School of Media and Journalism International Photo II Program where I was challenged to think and photograph metaphorically to create deeper meaning. Last summer I interned at the San Francisco Chronicle where I created daily assignments and two personal projects that centered around healing in communities.

I am based in Athens, Ohio and available for work.
